Team Kinguin have won the ESL Polish Championship Finals after defeating PRIDE 2-0 in the title decider (16-13 on Train and 16-6 on Mirage). The top four teams of the online portion of the ESL Polish Championship met in Katowice this weekend for the offline finals, with 70,000 PLN (~$18,000) up for grabs. Without too much surprise, Kinguin and PRIDE, the heavy favourites heading into the event, reached the grand final without even breaking a sweat as they defeated ZWIERZETA and Izako Boars, respectively, by 2-0 scorelines.
Powered by Mikołaj "mouz" Karolewski, Kinguin took the lead in the series with a close 16-13 victory on Train after a great CT half that ended with 11 rounds going their way. Mirage was a completed one-sided affair, with PRIDE failing to get a single round on the Terrorist side as Kinguin ran riot thanks to strong individual displays from Michał "MICHU" Müller and Karol "rallen" Rodowicz.
